Want to know more about me?

I am a born and bred local to Gladstone Central Queensland, only moving away to complete my naturopathy studies. This is at the heart of why I am so passionate about what I do because I believe regional areas deserve access to holistic health care just like metro areas.

You are probably wondering what lead me in the direction of becoming a naturopath….. Well the truth is, that I grew up a very normal healthy life utilising conventional medicine and it wasn’t until I hit my teen years that I grew a passion for thinking outside the box. Once I realised that for every pharmaceutical there is a natural equivalent I knew how I could help people.

how naturopathy returns the body back to balance

  • herbal medicine

Herbal medicine dates back thousands of years. It refers to the medicinal use of parts of a plant including flowers, fruit, bark, leaves, and roots. Phytochemicals found in plants are what give plants their medicinal properties. Herbal medicine has been traditionally used in many cultures across the world. Scientific research supporting the use of herbal medicine is continually growing. As a naturopath I ulitise herbal medicine in a personalised way to bring the body back to balance.

  • Nutritional medicine

Nutritional medicine is the supplementation of specific nutrients, vitamins and minerals to address and restore deficiencies in an individual. This is most effectively done in a personalised way by the use of nutritionally compounding specific nutrients/ vitamins/minerals into a personalised product.

  • food as medicine

As a naturopath, our ultimate goal is to restore balance by focusing on the foundations of diet and lifestyle. We can use food as medicine to implement specific therapeutic outcomes via chemical compounds found in the active constituents of particular foods. Food as medicine is implemented in personalized dietary advice to help you reach your goals.
