consultation types

  • The initial consult is the first step to your health journey. During this consult we work together to discover the root cause to your health condition/concern. We work together to explore your past and current health history, as well as family history, diet, and lifestyle. Due to the in – depth nature of an initial consult, please allow 75-90 minutes.

    A personalised treatment plan is formulated based on your health goals. This treatment plan includes dietary interventions, lifestyle advice, as well as any relevant nutritional and herbal medicine prescriptions. A timeframe around when your personalised treatment plan will be delivered will be discussed upon consultation.

  • A return consultation is generally conducted 2-3 weeks after your initial consult and then generally 4 weeks after that. However, this depends on your health goals and what timeline is best suited to reach those. During a return consult, we ensure your personalized prescription and treatment plan are supporting you to achieve your health goals. We delve into a comprehensive health review to make necessary improvements to your ongoing treatment. Return consults are when we also discuss testing options and analyse test results.

    This return consult is conducted in 45-60 minutes. Your treatment plan and prescriptions may be altered to match your health progression.

  • Iridology is the study of the iris, sclera and pupil and their relationship to individual health dispositions. Each iris is as unique as a fingerprint – where the nerve endings to all body tissues and organs are established from the iris.

    Discover a new perspective on your health through iridology:

    The first step to an iridology consult is capturing a high definition image of your eye in person.

    The next step is to gather relevant information regarding past and current health conditions, family history, and diet and lifestyle practices.

    With this knowledge and your iris photos, a comprehensive iridology report will then be created with valuable information about what diet, lifestyle, and prescription recommendations would be best suited to your unique iridology constitution to ensure optimal health.

PLEASE NOTE:

*A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment, otherwise a cancellation fee will be charged. This is in consideration for others, and allows me to schedule in other clients.

*Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to cancel/reschedule an initial consult, your deposit will be added to your account and transferred to your next appointment.

The process

1.     Book and pay $50 deposit to secure your initial consultation.

2.     Complete the pre-assessment form which can be found in the confirmation of booking email (this must be done at least 24hrs before your appointment).

3.     Email through any relevant information – ie pathology results, discharge forms etc.

4.     Read through the new patient welcome pack (PDF document emailed) prior to your appointment.

5.     Come to your appointment – Initial appointment can go from anywhere between 75-90 minutes so please allow enough time. During this time a personalised prescription may be formulated for you to take home which is an additional cost.

6.     An individualized treatment plan encompassing your health goals will be sent via email after your consult (timeframe of delivery will be discussed during consult).

testing

Testing is a great addition to thorough holistic assessment as it can be used to help discover the underlying cause and assess an individuals progress. It is also super beneficial for the development of a more personalised and targeted treatment plan.

basic blood analysis

Naturopaths view basic blood results in a different way to allopathic practitioners. We have optimal reference ranges for what you should be at instead of the massive ranges used in mainstream medicine. We also view the body as a whole so view each blood marker in the same light - connecting the dots.

I encourage you to bring recent blood results with you to your appointment and/or these can easily be ordered for you upon discussion at your initial consult.

This type of testing can range in price from around $20-$200.

functional testing

I also like to utilise functional testing to gain a much deeper understanding around various bodily functions and systems to identify imbalances or dysfunctions. This may include tests for hormones, digestion/microbiome, nutrient levels and more.

This type of testing can change in price from around $200-$400.
